Laura Bruch's short film 'Zebra' has been accepted for the New York Independent Film and Video Festival.

Bruch's 26 minute film was made during her third year of study at the Bachelor of Fine Art at Otago Polytechnic.

Bruch originally took her film to Berlin and is now en route to New York where Zebra will be shown on Wednesday March 5.Laura Bruch's short film 'Zebra' has been accepted for the New York Independent Film and Video Festival.

Bruch originally took her film to Berlin and is now en route to New York where Zebra will be shown on Wednesday March 5.Her digital and moving image lecturer David Green described the film as an 'emotionally charged parable around issues of love, control and 'husbandry.'
