Each year, the Year 3 Actors at Unitec School of Performing Arts devise their own short monologues that they present in collaboration with Year 2 Performance Technology students. This is a unique event in which we get to see dynamic theatre in the making. This year, Unitec Theatre has already demonstrated some cutting edge use of audio visual technology in the creation of time and place (The Laramie Project, directed by Roy Ward and Blackrock, directed by Robin Payne) and the Monologues (guided by Ros Gardner) gives them another opportunity to explore their creative collaborative potential as artists and technicians.
