Hawkes Bay actor/director, Michael Burton was struggling (again) to cast a show. So he came up with the idea of an on-line database where all of the amateur actors in the Hawkes Bay area could list their contact details and be sent every audition notice for the area.

Hawkes Bay actor/director, Michael Burton was struggling (again) to cast a show. So he came up with the idea of an on-line database where all of the amateur actors in the Hawkes Bay area could list their contact details and be sent every audition notice for the area.
Never again would local theatres have poor turn outs to auditions.
"But," he thought, "why stop at Hawkes Bay? There must be groups all over New Zealand having the same issues."
From there the concept grew and other benefits were evident;
Audition notices can be sent straight to the inbox of alll actors in the local area. Newsletters from theatre groups can be sent out via FindMyCast too!
