"Why Am I Here? (I Don't Believe We've Met)" is a visual performance experiment by artist Catherine Mazer that creates an immersive live dance and image processing environment. This live footage, which is visually split into a quadrant, is mixed with prerecorded footage of the dancers moving in exterior locations and other video personal to the director. The audio will comprise of original musical composition by Andrew Hummel.

Brick and Mortar Arts is the creative entity that encompasses the work of Cathryn Mazer. She has directed short films, performance works, and photo shoots. She also has worked as a production designer and set decorator on several films and plays produced in New York City.
