Who stole Moana's microphones?

Yesterday I returned home to NZ after a successful month-long tour in Europe with both my band and documentary-making crew. We safely transported a number of pelican and roadcases containing expensive film and live performance related equipment across a range of countries, 3 continents, untold theatres, clubs, castles and festivals. Everything was successfully delivered to my Auckland home on July 27th.Last night, I discovered that 2 custom-made aluminum roadcases containing SHURE microphones and recievers had been stolen from my home in Grey Lynn. The theft occured sometime between July 27 and August 5th.
The retail replacement value on this equipment, including the 2 roadcases is around $35,000.
The cases weighed 32, and 35 kilos each and were on wheels with red and white MOANA & the Tribe stickers emblazoned all across them. All the equipment is high quality and as Paul Edlin from Jands Electronics says 'some of it will stick out like a sore thumb, cos its high-end and hardly anyone has it.' The obvious things to look out for are the 3 x headset mics, and 2 handheld cordless mics, and the wireless monitor system that fits into the ear. Also, the 2nd roadcase holds 1 damaged receiver (see attachment, which shows the contents of one of the roadcases).
I have spoken with the police today. We decided that I would put the word out among N.Zs creative communities while the police do their thing. Hence this email.
The weekend is coming up and some of you will be out and about. I will have all the serial numbers on Monday but would appreciate if you could note anyone trying to move this equipment both around the country or through cyberspace, or any group or any venue suddenly being fully functional with microphones. I'm clutching at straws here, but hey - you never know. Am meanwhile hoping that the jerks electrocute themselves...
My phone number is 0274 714 991 or I can be contacted by e-mail.
Thank you for spreading the word...
