Tickets are now on sale for the 2008 Villa Maria Cult-Couture Awards. The awards, a feature event in the Manukau Festival of Arts, promise two amazing nights of couture, creativity and live performances.

This year's judges Rachel Churchward, fashion editor for MiNDFOOD magazine and hot fashion designers Adrian Hailwood and Jaeha-Alex Kim have selected a stunning line-up of garments for the show.

Eighty garments from 65 designers will vie for the premier award this year. Featured performers include Wellington-based vocalist Mere Boynton and all-girl band Vivah. Manager of Manukau Arts Leisa Siteine says that Villa Maria Cult-Couture is one festival event you won't want to miss. "Stunning fashion combined with an awesome line-up of music and dance acts at a very affordable price make for a great night out. "The awards grow in popularity every year and tickets are in hot demand, so get in quick", says Ms Siteine.

A special preview show on Friday, 31 October is followed by the excitement of the awards night on Saturday, 1 November.
