We have been running a text-based WAP project, the-phone-book.com, since 2000......and are now working with SMS, 3G & MMS content following a series of workshops and an exhibition at ISEA2002 in Japan last year - for more details, please see attached pdfs.

In the next few months we will be working alongside New Media Scotland consulting and training their documentary filmmakers to produce 'remixes' of their short films for The Edinburgh International Film Festival; educating youths from the rural Fenlands with Blink Media; presenting, consulting and providing workshops for the Electrofringe Festival in Adelaide and their partners within ANAT, in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne; providing workshops for The Kino Film Festival in Manchester with festival delegates; running ongoing workshops with Media Training, North West and Creative Partnerships in Schools across the North West region; hosting a 'drop-in trade stall' at the e-culture fair in Holland, and next year the British Council are shipping us over to Bangkok to work with college students.

Our visit to Australia and New Zealand is being supported in part by ANAT and focuses on Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, but we aim to stretch the trip to include as many people and locations as possible - it is a very long way to come to meet just a few people!

Our dates are, approximately, 21st September - 19th October 2003. If your organisation is interested in our workshops or perhaps a presentation or lecture, we would be delighted to include you in our schedule. We are also seeking financial support for the trip, so if you can think of anyone else who might be interested in our offerings, please forward this email to them, or send me their details - the more people who can help, the less everyone needs to contribute!
