Spodarek is a New Yorker herself, and the events of the play happened in and around her apartment every day. The catastrophe that affects the two people in the play was one she herself witnessed. There is a ring of truth in every word. Directed by Barry Legge, featuring Kazz Funky Blue and Paulette McIndoe.
In the Cellar of My Heart is a solo performance by Spodarek. It shadows with compassion and insight the thoughts of a woman in the moment of suicide. Directed by Marjorie McKee.
Spodarek was last seen in Wellington in the Fringe Festival at BATS last year with her solo show The Drunk Monologues.
