In this tense and brittle reunion, much more is at stake than who gets the house, when the brother discovers their father's sparse diary and uses it to create a story that will explain away the present and make sense of the past.
Award-winning actress Tandi Wright returns to the stage for the role of 'Nan'. Theatrics aside, Wright is also widely known for her roles on television and film, including Shortland Street, Black Sheep and Out Of The Blue.
Greenburg's accolades include a prestigious 'Best Play' Tony Award for Take Me Out, which sold out its season at the Silo Theatre in 2006. Other awards include the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, Lucille Lortel Award, Oppenheimer Award and PEN/Laura Pels Award. Three Days of Rain was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
Glen Drake (The Talented Mr. Ripley) and Eryn Wilson (Outrageous Fortune) join Tandi Wright on stage for the NZ premiere of this timeless love story. Led by Silo artistic director Shane Bosher, Three Days of Rain is sure to deliver a downpour of theatrical brilliance.
