The World Summit on Arts and Culture in Newcastle, England has just rounded up last week after 4 days of passionate international advocacy.

The Summit asked delegates to get straight to the burning issues of the day. How can culture drive regeneration? The regeneration agenda addresses the bare necessities of civilisation - health, education, housing, employment - but the arts and culture still has a unique contribution to make to this mix. The Summit explored three key areas: Transforming Places, Lives and Economies.
