A festival in the true sense of the word, to run from 12th to 19th May 2005, the Pleiades Festival will be composed of around ten short films by new film-makers and students, films that will be competiting for the Festival Awards. In addition the festival program will present five non-competing shorts by renowned directors.

The cinema screenings and debates with the film directors will be held in the following 18 towns and cities across the world including Christchurch, New Zealand.

It will be held on May 16th 2005 at the Christchurch Art Gallery's Phillip Carter Family Auditorium at 7.30pm.

Tickets will be door sales only, 10$ waged, $7 unwaged. The Pleiades Festival will be composed of 10 short films by new film-makers and students, films and 5 non-competing shorts by renowned directors.
