Hip hop impresario Phil Fuemana dies
Rest in PeaceAs director of 'Urban Pacifika Productions' and 'Gifted and Maori Ltd' www.giftedandmaori.com Phillip Fuemana has produced some of New Zealands most well known artists including Otara Millionaires Club, Adeaze, Ill Semantics, Dei Hamo, AKA Brown, Moizna, Losttribe, Jamoa Jam, Lole, Fou Nature, True Bliss and Dave Dobbyn to name just a few.
His achievements have included 3 NZ Tui Music Awards, Gold and Platinum Discs and seven NZ Top 40 Hits.
He has also been the driving force behind promoting emerging Maori talent in Te Reo Maori producing such artists the likes of Aaria, T-Sistaz, WVVLC, Koha Kii, Hohepa, Tamehana, DJ Poroufessor, Verse3, Mikarae Paki, Soul Cooper, and others, and is credited for writing and producing both Aaria hits, 'Kei A Wai Ra Te Kupu' and 'Cry No More'.
