The Black Seeds have signed a two-album European record deal with top German label Sonar Kollektiv, who will release the Wellington band's latest album Into the Dojo throughout Europe and Japan from July 2007.

Renowned for working with acts such as Jazzanova, Sonar Kollektiv is one of Germany's best-known independent labels, and is connected to a top worldwide distribution network.Having signed a separate deal with Rough Trade Netherlands earlier this year, Into The Dojo will also be released in Holland/Belgium in July.
A 12" vinyl EP featuring four tracks from the album has also just been released and is available now through Best Seven/Sonar Kollektiv.
After successful tours in 2005/2006, The Black Seeds return to Europe in July/August for an album release tour, including shows in the UK, Holland and Germany.
