Featuring four of the dance forms that emphasise percussive feet - tap, flamenco, Irish and Indian - tempo º's LOUD Percussive Dance Showcase will juxtapose the styles in the same programme.Featuring four of the dance forms that emphasise percussive feet - tap, flamenco, Irish and Indian - tempo º's LOUD Percussive Dance Showcase will juxtapose the styles in the same programme.Opening this programme are the hugely popular all boy tap dance troop Boyzdance 2, fresh from their trip to the United States. Boyzdance were one of three groups chosen to represent New Zealand at the World Hip Hop Championships in Los Angeles.

Amira will be performing the flamenco section of this programme. Amira started her dance training in early childhood and has studied ballet, American jazz, Middle Eastern, African and Sufi dance. When she first experienced flamenco she realised that this challenging artform offered the intensity and musicality she had been seeking.

Clare Connor's performance will have the Gaelic community in Auckland exclaim "Eireann go Brach!" ("Ireland forever!") as the Connolly School of Irish Dancing presents a performance of both traditional Irish dance and the country's more contemporary form - Riverdance.
