This is a rare exhibition of some 60 Melanesian contemporary visual art works from Papua New Guinea, Fiji, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands that was part of the recent Tok Talanoa Symposium held in Wellington.

Ted Downing Art Critic introduced the work at the opening as 'being beyond categorization and of very high quality - and well priced.'

This first ever exhibition in New Zealand of Melanesian contemporary art is sponsored by the Papua New Guinea High Commission and the Pacific Cooperation Foundation. All the works are for sale.
