given Guest Gallery status in the reviewed, submission-only section of this international,
online/digital art portal.MOCA, one of the most heavily-trafficked, comprehensive, frequently-updated and respected computer art museums on the Web, was established in 1994 by computer artists Don Archer and Bob Dodson. It was awarded top-level domain (TLD) status by the Museum Domain Management Association (MuseDoma) in 2002 and is registered under ICANN authority and hosted on the Web as .

As a virtual museum, it is dedicated to promoting computer art in its various forms and
manifestations including 3-D rendered art, fractals, enhanced photography, animation, mixed media and computer painted/drawn art.

Bodvin began investigating some of these new technologies (and how to use them in his art
making process) in 1997, after exhibiting traditional paintings and prints for over 2 decades, Now, he has recently completed a new range of innovative, digitally-manipulated work that he describes as "Photomedia Paintings".

Clay's creative process starts with scanning photographs he has taken into his computer -
then the digital composing and painting begins. As well as online exhibiting, the work is used to produce limited edition prints while some images are transferred to large panels and then re-painted with traditional materials, eg, acrylic and oil paints and wax pencils.

Not coincidentally, his email signature 'creating by mixing old and new mediums' seems to be a good description for this new work (he also trades under the name mixedmediums).

He says, "This is maybe the best of both worlds...making use of traditional skills in new ways...[but]...it's been six years since my last exhibition...the task now is to get work out there, get exposure and build a profile again. The objective being a new exhibition by this time next year - or sooner!"
