Straight from the Heart - An Afternoon of Opera
A benefit concert for soprano Paloma Bruce will be held on 3 June 2007. The concert will feature tenor Ben Makisi (known as the 'Polynesian Pavarotti'), baritone Phillip Rhodes (winner of 2007 Lexus Song Quest) and friends.A benefit concert for soprano Paloma Bruce will be held on 3 June 2007. The concert will feature tenor Ben Makisi (known as the 'Polynesian Pavarotti'), baritone Phillip Rhodes (winner of 2007 Lexus Song Quest) and friends.Proceeds will benefit Paloma so she can study at the Royal College of Music in London this September.
The programme will include works by Handel, Mozart, Bellini, Moore, and Gilbert & Sullivan.
