Te Kupenga Stone Sculpture Society is hosting their 8th stone sculpture symposium on the foreshore in New Plymouth.

Twenty-five stone sculptors, of which five are from overseas (Belgium, France, Italy, Zimbabwe, Japan) will transform Taranaki andesite into artworks over a three week period.Te Kupenga Stone Sculpture Society is hosting their 8th stone sculpture symposium on the foreshore in New Plymouth.

Exhibition of sculptures: 20 January - 26 January 2008
Auction of stone sculptures: Saturday 26 January at 4pm on the New Plymouth foreshore.
