Our Story' is the debut CD compilation from new record label Southgate Entertainment.

Drawing from the central region of the North Island, the compilation features a selection of hot RnB, Rap and Reggae flavours produced in Southgate's own recording studio. Our Story features 17 tracks, "It's a great opportunity for our young and talented roster to pursue their musical dreams and aspirations" says CEO Carl Perkins.

RnB features strongly with 17 year old Seth, and crooner Marino, as well as the harder edged Aaron G and T.A. delivering a mix of sultry love songs and stylized Rnb tunes.

The ladies also get on the mic with Sadlier sisters (aka PA Styles) with 'Summer Breeze' who were awarded a new recording grant from NZ on Air.

Best friends Jahlyse, with 'Rise Up', on the NZ on Air Iwi Hit Disc 15, sent to all NZ radio station programmers. Both tracks have cool videos produced for TV and shot by Director Rongotai Lomas.

Rap is also big on the record with tracks from the likes of 13 year old Lil Richie through to Rotorua based Random K.l.i.K. crew, SVC and duo Defwish and Tihema, whos track made the NZ on Air Iwi Hit Disc 16.

Tracks from the production team behind the music Omeka, Izzy and PKS include 'Got Game' (selected for the latest Major Flavas compilation).

The album has a truly international flavour with the inclusion of acts, Pure Source (USA) and Messenjah (Africa) "Gunz Down speaks for the African children forced into battle, dying in the dust" says Messenjah.

All artists on Our Story are officially signed to Southgate with the label recently securing a 3 year distribution deal with national retail and online distribution company www.Maorimusic.com
