Michaela and Paddy have both released solo albums, and have garnered enthusiastic reviews for their live performances. The show entails two separate sets followed by some collaboration with invited guests on violin and percussion.

Michaela has been compared to 'PJ Harvey on a softer day' with her voice drawing comments such as 'height-scaling and vocally acrobatic'. Her lyrics often involve sharp social commentary wrapped up in metaphor, and she explores alternative chord voicings that make for innovative guitar accompaniment. Michaela also plays with four-piece rock/jazz/folk fusion group Fun with Knives, a member of whom (Brooke Shearer, violin) will be joining in the collaboration as a guest artist.

Paddy's recent album drew stylistic comparisons such as 'somewhere between James Taylor, Ry Cooder and a less cynical Loudon Wainwright..' His talent for vocal and instrumental melody, and keenly observant lyrics create dimensional songwriting that gets better with each listen. Paddy also produces acoustic instruments that are played world wide, and is a sought after Luthier in Wellington.
