Grant Collier has been selected as the inaugural General Manager of SODA Inc, Hamilton’s  new business incubator aimed at growing the creative industries economy in the city and region.

With a generalist law degree, a decade of management consulting experience in business and IT arenas, and a specialist interest in strategy formulation and implementation, Grant Collier is looking forward to an exciting new challenge.

Since 2004, Grant has been involved in various entrepreneurial activities including building a small Strategy & Innovation consultancy. 

He spent last year in Johannesburg as General Manager of a business incubator where he also trained Financial and Entrepreneurial courses, and acted as Strategy Mentor to several small businesses. 

Grant says he is excited about his new role and the potential of SODA Inc. for the Waikato region.  He is also looking forward to getting involved in the music scene in Hamilton.

SODA Inc, Hamilton’s  new business incubator is aimed at growing the creative industries economy in our city and region.  The full incubator programme for new business start-ups will begin soon after Grant’s arrival in April 2009.
