"Dream Within a Dream" is the first short animated film of Auckland film-maker Felicity Rogers. The 9 minute black & white film combines 3D animation with live actors filmed against green screen, a magical tale around the theme of dreams and illusions. Funding provided by Creative New Zealand's "Screen Innovation Production Fund" and the "North Harbour Club."

Next week Felicity is set to attend the "Melbourne International Animation Festival" where "Dream Within a Dream" will screen as the sole New Zealand film represented at this years festival. Other upcoming screenings include S.P.L.I.F as part of the "Perth Revelation Film Festival", 3rd & 5th July, the "Wellington Fringe Film Festival", 10th July and the "London International Animation Festival" in August.

This week it has been announced that "Dream Within a Dream" is 1 of 10 New Zealand finalists selected for the "Drifting Clouds International Film Festival Competition". The film will screen at the awards ceremony in Wellington 27th August.

Earlier this year "Dream Within a Dream" screened as part of the "4th Annual Local Shorts Outdoors", 1 of 12 finalists in the Auckland "Richmond Road Short Film Competition". The film made its NZ festival premiere in Wanganui at the 2004 "River City Film Festival", picking up the award for "Best Visual Effects" sponsored by DVT.

Felicity's second personal film project "Flame" is currently under production, a short multimedia Argentine Tango film also funded by the "Screen Innovation Production Fund".
