Stuff reports that out of nearly 500 competitors, Wellington artist Seraphine Pick has been chosen as the winner of this year's Norsewear Art Awards. Her $20,000 prize was presented at the Hawke's Bay Exhibition Centre on Saturday night by arts consultant, writer and broadcaster Hamish Keith, who described the Norsewear awards as "the premier contemporary art award in New Zealand".
