The Chips are down at Lake House Arts Centre and the overall winner in the Wood Sculpture Live 2005 was Walter Yeoman with "Balance" carved from Macrocarpa. Second Place was Anna Korver from Christchurch with "Nauticus" carved from Cedar and the winner of the Lee Taylor-Smith Memorial Prize for a piece of inter-active sculpture was John Freeman with "A Throne of New Beginnings" (Right) carved from Macrocarpa. The exhibition will be on in the grounds of Lake House Arts Centre until 14th May, and people are able to vote for their favourite sculpture, and a prize will be drawn for a lucky voter on the 14th -

An exhibition of participating artists' previous works is in the Gallery open daily 10 - 4 p.m.
