The tall and distinctive sculptures that have 'appeared' on The Strand opposite Masonic Park are there to whet the public's appetite for the upcoming Tauranga Garden and Art Festival.

The two faces, "Helen" and "Hana" are the work of Whangaparaoa Sculptor, Robert Onnes.

The event will feature the work of over 40 national sculptors in exhibits at the Sculpture Walk around the shores of The Lakes at Tauriko during November 8-14.
