Melbourne filmmaker Seersha Perera is producing a short film on NZ indie author Rod Bridgman. Melbourne filmmaker Seersha Perera is producing a short film on NZ indie author Rod Bridgman.The film is due to be complete in time for short film festivals in 2004. Golden Tussock Publications also intend to distribute the film on CD-Rom format with press kits for Bridgman's next book which will be published next June/July.
Bridgman's last book 'Vanilla Daze' was published in February this year and received rave reviews. His low budget books and 'earthy, organic' writing have built up a cult following also in Australia, where he is temporarily based.
