Is New Zealand ready for the rebirth of baroque?
It is often assumed that the professions of interior decoration and architecture are closely linked. After all, they both deal with the same domestic spaces. Few architects, however, take interior decorators ("cushions and curtains") very seriously and even fewer would admit that they could shape the form of the houses in which we live.
