In October 2005, Christchurch musician Rebecca Fountain was accepted to perform a showcase at the Rockrgrl Music Conference in Seattle, Washington, USA. Rockrgrl is the largest music conference for women in the music industry and the largest gathering of female musicians in the world. She writes, "This was an incredible opportunity to share my debut album, like water and give a live performance to such a vast community of women from all over the world."
