This is an invite to attend the first Auckland screening + DVD release of Ngatahi - Know The Links (parts one & two).

In "Ngatahi" hip-hop, poetry, activism and music exists as one. Featuring footage and music from Cuba, Colombia, Hawaii, USA, Canada, Jamaica, France , England, Australia and Aotearoa, "Ngatahi" is a medley of interconnected stories that tell of the history and actuality of survival and struggle in the face of colonization, corruption and injustice. From Brixton to Harlem, Trenchtown to Waitangi, "Ngatahi" is full of uplifting voices and stirring outpourings of many indigenous and marginalized peoples of the world.

Without a voice-over narration "Ngatahi - Know The Links" embraces, entertains and informs through r-a-p (rhyme and percussion). Music from Reachout 2002 (Jamaica), Ernie Kruz (Hawaii), La Heroi-k (Colombia), Wire MC and Milkybar (Australia), Dall'as Cartel (France), Havana locals (Cuba), Upper Hutt Posse (Aotearoa) and many more musicians compliment the free flow of words and beats.

"Ngatahi - Know The Links" is a landmark New Zealand work by a visionary musician, artist and film maker.
