Art collector and philanthropist Jenny Gibbs has been made a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit ‘for services to the arts’.

Art collector and philanthropist Jenny Gibbs has been made a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit ‘for services to the arts’.

Dame Jenny was one of many in the creative sector recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2009, released on June 1, including musician Che Fu (Mr Che NESS ) who was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to music.
