Psychedelic Freakout

Mind-altering rock and roll brings the swinging sixties into the noughties.Mind-altering rock and roll brings the swinging sixties into the noughties. The Evening

As you walk towards The Underground Bar, the gentle scent of incense enchants you. The hippie chick on the door hands you a flower and you walk through the beaded curtain to the magical world of the swinging '60s. Lava lamps bubble and glow in the dim light, and you find yourself drawn to a cushion-strewn room where a girl paints a butterfly on your cheek. You're mesmerised by the go-go dancers swaying to the grooves of DJ Johnny Salsa. Just as you feel as through your mind is opening in a meditative trance, the tribal pounding of the drums snaps you from your reverie and you're drawn to the dance floor. You move through the colourful, jubilant crowd to the front of the stage, where a long-haired man prowls the podium like a tiger.

The music has begun.
