'Poop' is an exciting new street-theatre work based on the events surrounding the anonymous poisoning of pigeons in 2001.To this day, no one has claimed responsibility for the deaths of many city pigeons that greeted pedestrians one Wellington morning. As part of the Fringe Festival, the Sitting Pretty Collective have used the mystery murders as inspiration to devise a mad-cap adventure of good vs. evil as city-dwellers and pigeons battle for who will reign supreme at Pigeon Park.

'Poop' is a windy Wellington western starring larger-than-life characters, puppets and an abundance of poop. Be prepared for crazy dance routines, a bit of rough and tumble and pigeons that are out of this world.
This 40-minute piece of magical mayhem is performed free to the Wellington public and is suitable for all ages.

The Sitting Pretty Collective are five fresh and innovative theatre practitioners dedicated to providing quality theatre in site-specific locations. The Collective is made up of Toi Whakaari/Victoria University graduates: director Jade Eriksen (Yatra, The Maids), and performers Angela Green (When Sun & Moon Collide, Private Lives), Tahi Mapp-Borren (Quills, Troilus & Cressida), Daniel Northcott (Duffy, Spinning Tale), and Julian Wilson (Motormouth, Out of my Mind).

Performance Dates and Times: 8th-13th March, 7pm, Te Aro Park aka 'Pigeon Park' (intersection of Manners and Dixon Streets, Wellington City).
