Since releasing their debut album Red Light Syndrome in 2001 and the double platinum-selling Pipeline Under The Ocean in 2005, Pluto have become a band known for consistently writing thoughtful and memorable songs. In October 2007, the Auckland five-piece return with their eagerly anticipated third offering, Sunken Water. But that's not to say the theme of the album is political. The rest, well, there's family elements and because we're all in relationships, there are love elements too. There are a number of things that can inspire the songs we write."

Sunken Water is instore Monday 22 October, and album release shows are happening in Auckland at Rising Sun on 24 and 25 October. Tickets are on sale Monday 8 Oct at Real Groovy or Ticketek.

Pluto are also playing with Crowded House and Supergroove on Sunday 28 October at Vector Arena, Auckland; Wednesday 31 October at TSB Bank Arena in Wellington; and Friday 2 November at Westpac Arena in Christchurch.
