Despite falling out with New Line Cinema - the studio that commissioned the Lord of the Rings trilogy - it's rumoured that Peter Jackson could still be involved with the film adaption of The Hobbit. Bob Shaye, head of New Line Cinema, told The Los Angeles Times: "Notwithstanding our personal quarrels, I really respect and admire Peter and would love for him to be creatively involved in some way in The Hobbit."
