Te Waka Toi, the Maori Arts Board and the Pacific Arts Committee of Creative New Zealand are selecting artists for the Aotearoa delegation to the 9th Pacific Arts Festival being held from 22-31 July 2004 in Belau (Republic of
Palau), Micronesia.

Te Waka Toi, the Maori Arts Board and the Pacific Arts Committee of Creative New Zealand are selecting artists for the Aotearoa delegation to the 9th Pacific Arts Festival being held from 22-31 July 2004 in Belau (Republic of
Palau), Micronesia.

We're looking for artists from a range of artforms whose work is of a high standard and who will be excellent ambassadors of Aotearoa. Artists selected will be strong communicators, readily able to articulate their culture and
the processes they use to develop their art.

2. Read the information sheet and application form carefully

3. Ensure you meet the Selection Criteria

4. Download and complete the application form

5. Send a HARD COPY of the application form to Creative New Zealand,
PO Box 3806,
Wellington

Applications to be included in the Aotearoa delegation close 5pm, Friday 3
October 2003

Please read information provided on the application form carefully as no incomplete or late applications will be accepted.

Applications will be assessed in mid October 2003.

Final selection of the Aotearoa delegation will be made by Te Waka Toi (for Maori artists) and the Pacific Arts Committee (for Aotearoa-based Pacific artists) at the end of October.
