OdESSA - the Wellington Garage Funk sensation - have won the 2006 'Live And Local' competition for a New Zealand band to play at Big Day Out and record at the famous York Street Studios.

It's a tremendous opportunity for OdESSA to be part of Big Day Out, the biggest music event in New Zealand, and the prospect of recording at the legendary York Street Studios is very exciting. Their single "Bring The Money Back" is currently available for free download at Amplifier.co.nz along with tracks from other great bands in the competition.
