NZSA rallies to support mid-career writers

The NZSA Manuscript Appraisal Service has been running since 2005 and is open for applications throughout the year. The service offers a brief assessment of content and writing style of an extract of prose, non-fiction, or selection of poetry up to 6,000 words.
With the support of Creative New Zealand, we are delighted to announce that in 2010 we are offering an additional 5 places specifically for mid-career writers. This is an opportunity for a published writer who would like to try a new direction in their writing, or is simply feeling stale in their current project.
The service provides writers with a professional overview by an experienced author or editor, and from feedback we have had, many authors have found the service to be immensely useful.
