NZ shorts to screen at SXSW

Four New Zealand short films will screen at the South by South West Film Conference & Festival.
The New Zealand films are 2010 Fresh Short Ellen is Leaving (written by Martha Hardy-Ward, directed by Michelle Savill and produced by Michelle Savill and Desray Armstrong); 2011 Fresh Short I Kill (directed by David White and Paul Wedel, produced by David White); independent short Dotty (written by Mick Andrews, directed by Mick Andrews and Brett O'Gorman, produced by Jozsef Fityus); and Media Design School short Shelved (written by Kathryn Burnett, directed by James Cunningham, produced by James Cunningham, Oliver Hilbert and Leon Woud).
SXSW Film is part of the larger SXSW Film, Music and Interactive Conferences and Festivals held in Austin, Texas, which began in 1987.
The festival is attended in large numbers and has seen the premieres of major films such as Joss Whedon's The Cabin in the Woods and Paul Feig's Bridesmaids.
SXSW Film takes place this year from March 8 - 16.
