The stunning parkland site of this 19th century naval fort with its amazing views to Rangitoto and the Hauraki Gulf is once again the venue for NZ Sculpture OnShore, a significant fundraiser for women's refuges around New Zealand.

NZ Sculpture OnShore 3 -12 November Fort Takapuna Historic Reserve, Vauxhall Road, Devonport Open daily 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. $5 suggested donation.

All the sculptures are for sale and in 2004 the exhibition resulted in $200,000 being donated to refuges throughout the country. Once again - local North Shore schools will exhibit their art in the Historic Fort and added attractions include a sculpture shop for smaller outdoor works, a cafe and guided tours of the exhibition at 11am daily.
