ARTSPACE and Creative New Zealand are sorry to announce that Nicolaus Schafhausen, the Director of Frankfurter Kunstverein and newly appointed Director of Witte de With in Rotterdam, will not be coming to New Zealand as advertised on Friday. Due to family circumstances Schafhausen has had to urgently return to Germany and cancel his talks here.

The following lectures are cancelled:
Auckland Wednesday 23 Nov, 6.30pm at Elam School of Fine Arts Lecture Theatre

New Plymouth Sunday 27 Nov, 2pm at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, and

Wellington Tuesday 29 Nov, 6pm at the Adam Art Gallery

As of 1 January 2006 he will take up the post of director and chief-curator of Witte de With, centre for contemporary art in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
