Nga Mahi Toi

23 Dec 2011
From us, The Big Idea’s Te Mahi Toi, we wish YOU all the very best for the holiday season.

To honour Te Aria Nui, the second part of our name, those of us who are intimately involved in delivering The Big Idea, ART Venture and TBI Assist collectively go by the name of Nga Mahi Toi (the artworkers). Even we’re surprised to know that this year there were 18 creative arts professionals in this cluster.

We go into the festive season on a high celebrating the launch of The Big Idea 10 years ago and the ways that YOU have embraced the innovation and really made it happen.

Online communities like those in ‘real’ world, share a generosity of spirit as they support people and their projects. In the case of The Big Idea community, that has been through sharing networks, opportunities, work and other resources that are truly valuable.

We celebrate that many of you have joined into the spirit of community as collaboration can be the only way forward, not just in our sector, but for the world.

From us, The Big Idea’s Nga Mahi Toi, we wish YOU all the very best for the holiday season.

The team will be back from January 9 and our first Navigator Bulletin for 2012 will be Thursday 19 January.

In the meantime you can continue to list your media releases and event listings, jobs and opportunities and share your work in show. Here’s some tips to share your content on The Big Idea.
