The second New Zealand Professional Photography Awards 2004 proudly sponsored by Canon are being held this Queen's Birthday weekend. Judging takes place at the Panavision Studios, Auckland, where the public are welcome to view the judging process and the photographs for themselves.

The second New Zealand Professional Photography Awards 2004 proudly sponsored by Canon are being held this Queen's Birthday weekend. Judging takes place at the Panavision Studios, Auckland, where the public are welcome to view the judging process and the photographs for themselves.
There will be an exhibition of winning prints as well.

These Awards represent the best of New Zealand photography across all disciplines. A wide range of styles and images can be viewed as the 13 categories feature Advertising, Architecture, Black and White, Editorial/Corporate, Fashion and Beauty, Food and Drink, Landscape, People, Self Promotion/Illustrative, Series, Still life, Student/Assistant, and Wedding.

As well as category winners there are three major awards decided:
The Canon Photographer of the Year,
The AIPA Brian Brake Memorial Award
The Geddes Champion Print.
