Kaha Mai is a totally inclusive family orientated event promoting the games of ancient times. People from all cultures and nationalities are invited to participate in and witness the revival of traditional Maori Games most of which arrived here with our Polynesian ancestors.

Saturday 3 Feb: Open Day - learn the games in a fun environment
Sunday 4 Feb: Contest Day - if you think you've got the stuff, compete to win
Monday 5 Feb: Ra Rori / Silly Day - Top Town spectacular
Tuesday 6 Feb: Water Sports Day
Games include waka racing, swimming races, running races, throwing and target games, strategic board games, contests of weaponary and performance skill, team ball games, and grappling.
