Did you know that New Zealand has a sub-branch with the Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand (MAANZ)
Some of you are already members… Others of you may wonder what I am talking about…
MAANZ began as MosOz in 2002 – an association to encourage mosaic art and encourage each other as artists. (By the way - Life Membership to MAANZ is only $110.00)
But what I really want to tell you about is the Symposium…..
* Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand (MAANZ) Symposium - Friday October 9 to Sunday October 11 2009
* Every two years MAANZ organises a Symposium for people to get together to share and learn, to be inspired, to connect, to exhibit their artworks and to simply enjoy the creative process of being a mosaic artist.
* MAANZ is holding their next Symposium in Brisbane. Australia.
* Already confirmed as key note speaker is the wonderful Karen Ami, president of the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) and director of the Chicago Mosaic School.
