Slammistress Renee will once again crack her whip and high heels over proceedings, and woe betide any poets who don't stick to the three-minute time limit...The event will also feature Auckland's premier performance poetry band, The Literatti. This is poetry as you've never heard it before, as multiple poetic voices in a blend of theatre, breathtaking poetic imagery and music.
Auditions for competitors will be held the weekend prior - venue and time to be announced.
When: Saturday 28 July 2007, 8pm
Where: London Bar, corner Queen and Wellesley Sts, Auckland
Cost: $10 waged, $5 concession (students/unwaged/pensioners)
