This year, a New Zealand magazine made the bold claim that Finn Andrews is "the best singer/songwriter this country has ever produced". It seems a little premature. But if his band the Veils' excellent second album Nux Vomica or the impressive but ramshackle gig that I recently witnessed at the Camden Barfly are any indication, there is a good chance that Andrews will deliver on that brash boast.
