Highlights of the 2005 Matariki Festival programme include:
- Atamira Dance Collective Performance - Saturday 18 June
Choreographer Moss Patterson & the Atamira Dance Collective will present the piece 'Te Paki'
Auckland War Memorial
- Whatu Wananga - Saturday 18 and 25 June
A Harakeke and Muka Workshop that teaches the traditional Maori techniques for extracting plant fibre, harvesting and dying and producing kete muka or whatu
