The Department of Labour invites sponsorship applications from graduate students who plan to carry out empirical research on topics of current interest to the Department. They are prepared to contribute to the costs of data collection and data access for a small number of projects each year. Up to $5,000.
The Department of Labour is committed to undertaking and encouraging sound empirical research into the New Zealand labour market and labour market policies. Such research is an important input into the policy advice that they provide to government on a broad range of economic and social policy issues.
