We're holding a Maori Film Festival in our little community of Kaiti in Gisborne and looking for Maori film-makers, actors or anyone involved in the industry who wants to present something or do a workshop and might be in the Tairawhiti region around 16-18 January 2004. We're holding a Maori Film Festival in our little community of Kaiti in Gisborne and looking for Maori film-makers, actors or anyone involved in the industry who wants to present something or do a workshop and might be in the Tairawhiti region around 16-18 January 2004.We're keen to screen new and old stuff that is locally made. We have a zero budget (well about $1,000 all up) for the event. We've put up a draft programme at: www.kapaikaiti.com/ff and will pay the NZ Film Commission for screening rights of the films listed unless we can get others donated.

Thanks,
Manu Caddie & Deanna Harrison.
