NZ On Air will fund 27 new music projects in its latest Making Tracks funding round.

The 27 projects were selected from a field of 115 applications.

Eighteen are $10,000 grants for recording a song and making a music video to back up the release of the song and 9 are $6,000 grants for making a music video only.

Eighteen are $10,000 grants for recording a song and making a music video to back up the release of the song and 9 are $6,000 grants for making a music video only.

This means NZ On Air has funded 244 Making Tracks projects so far this financial year (commencing on 1 July 2012) from 1,282 applications.

Decisions are based on the broadcast, music and audience merits of the songs that have been submitted, judged by a panel of broadcasting and music professionals.
